Born in Scotland I was brought up with photography. My father was kind, or mad enough, to give me my first camera aged 4. Of course there was no film in it, so perhaps he was just kind after all. I learned how to develop and print film at secondary school and I have been taking pictures ever since. I have been developing my style of wedding photography for the last three years and I am now settled in providing a timeless style of image that is designed to stand the test of time. I have a definite passion for shooting people and I am lucky to know many generous people in the industry to whom I am deeply indebted.

I shoot mainly on Nikon professional cameras and lenses but I do occasionally get the film out to play too. I am a qualified member of the Royal Photographic Society, gaining LRPS in January 2010. I take my development and training seriously and invest in seminars and training each year.

I also take time to select the best quality products I can source for my clients. Photography is a visual medium but more than that, it's about memories so I put a lot of effort into sourcing products that you will love for years to come.

I live with my family in Marple, Stockport and I am ideally placed to travel throughout the North West and nationally.

I love shooting weddings, civil ceremonies and civil partnerships and I am fortunate to have my images featured in East Cheshire Registrars' "Your ceremony, your choice" magazine for both marriages and civil partnerships. I also provide Stockport Council with the images for both Stockport Town Hall and Bramhall Hall Brochures.

Your big day is all about the passion and emotion of the day so trust it to someone who is as passionate about the photography.
